Things to do in Toronto
The CN Tower is Canada's most famous landmark. It has surpassed the height of the Eiffel Tower by 13 metres and is the tallest structure in Canada and in the Western Hemisphere.
The Toronto Zoo, one of the largest in North America, houses over 60 species of mammals, more than 320 species of birds and more than 100 species of reptiles.
Toronto has a lively theatre scene; every
year it hosts some 37 festivals, including performances from Cirque du Soleil,
David Copperfield and many others.
Toronto's downtown waterfront offers great views of Lake Ontario and is home to numerous parks such as Sugar Beach, HTO Park and Harbourfront Center.

Toronto has a rich culture with a multitude of festivals throughout the year. Large festivals include the Toronto InternationalFilm Festival, the Caribana festival, accompanied by jazz and world music, and Pride Week. Smaller events include music festivals, film festivals and food fairs such as Festival Latinoamericano de Toronto and Taste of the Danforth. During Nuit Blanche Toronto, an all-night art celebration that happens in October, over 600 contemporary art projects are exhibited throughout the city, attracting over one million annual visitors.
